Born in Memphis, Tennessee, I was forcefully moved to the cold, frozen hell of Calgary, Canada at the tender age of seven. It was during the bitter-cold, wintry days and nights where I developed a love for the literary genre of swords-and-sorcery fantasy which became my passion and purpose that has dominated my persona for many years.
My aspirations to write began in my teens. By seventeen, I had already began penning my 'All American Novel,' which became an anchor in for me in this existence.
I began my working life as a blue-collar worker in residential construction, (and I sure know how to swear as a result) but switched my vocation in 1993 and worked in the visual communications industry at many rungs on the ladder—from graphic designer to creative director. As I transitioned to freelance, I worked creating websites and marketing material for multiple small and medium companies.
I have also published articles and short stories in magazines as well as online blogs.
In 2022, I retired from the design business and decided to dust off my long held anchor. I am currently close to publishing the first book Heroes Unknown - An Epic Fantasy in my series “Heroes—a trilogy" following four characters as they fight to save their world from the domination of a god gone insane.
